Photo Restoration is charged by the hour and the time taken will vary from print to print.  Repairs to faces in particular can be very difficult and time consuming, while backgrounds are often much easier to retouch. It is impossible to quote an accurate price without first seeing the original.  Some repairs may only take 5 or 10 minutes and a lot can be accomplished in half an hour. Complex restoration, particularly of facial features that require reconstruction of missing areas will take longer.  We will not proceed without first providing an estimate and agreeing with you how much work should be undertaken. You may be pleasantly surprised.  What seems like a major disaster to you, could be a routine repair for us. Hand Colouring - Subtle hand colouring or tinting (1940's style) - from about £10.  Many other effects can be applied.
